We have been working with Mr. Henson since the 1980's on printing services for the President's office at Virginia Union University...The most memorable printing job that he has done for the university had to be in 2005. At 4:00 p.m. on the eve of our Commencement, the President's office was notified that we did not have any diplomas for the ceremony at 10:00 a.m. the next day.  We called on HDH at 5:00 p.m. on Friday evening to see if there was anyway humanly possible that he could print 300 diplomas with all of the information that needed to be printed on them along with diploma covers by 9:00 a.m. the next morning. When Mr. Henson arrived and heard what we needed, he did not answer saying that he could not do the job, he immediately went into action. At 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning of our Commencement Exercise, we had the diplomas and covers for our students. We don't know to this day how he was able to do it but God was on his side and he came through with flying colors.

One of Mr. Henson's first major print jobs for The Balm In Gilead was the production of the program book for the African American Church Inaugural Ball in Washington, DC. It was a major Inaugural Ball for President Barack Obama. Mr. Henson worked a production miracle by literally meeting a three day production turn around. It must be noted that no other printer would touch this job due to the short production timeline. The product was completed a number of hours prior to the deadline ... and was excellent!
